Hiking in the Verdon: unforgettable views of the Verdon canyon
Near La Farigoulette, go for a walk to discover the Baudinard Gorges and be amazed by the beautiful landscapes. The trail along the caves is fun to walk and offers gorgeous views. There are also many hiking trails near the campsite, including the Côteau Chiron Trail, which leaves directly from the campsite and overlooks the Verdon Gorges. For an active, yet peaceful and invigorating holiday.
Nature lovers and hikers can walk the famous trails along the waterfront or above the rocky canyons. Don’t miss the Blanc-Martel or Imbut Trails, the most famous in the area.
The Blanc-Martel Trail, 16 km along the river, takes you through the largest canyon in Europe. The hike requires good physical condition and has steep passages, but it’s worth the effort for the superb views.
The Imbut Trail is known as one of the most challenging and beautiful trails in the Verdon Gorges. Recommended for experienced hikers and athletes, it will take you at least 5 hours of effort, or about 10 km of walking to reach Imbut and the pebble beach.
